‘Berry’ Good Morning Breakfast

 

Are you ready to have a “berry” good morning? Not everything that is nourishing needs to be hard to make. Enjoy making this super easy and delicious berry breakfast recipe!

Want a reason to add berries to your morning? “Nourishing, protecting, balancing, and detoxifying: new research is constantly providing us with further evidence of berries’ goodness. Plus, they are delicious!” (SuperLife). Berries can help fight arthritis symptoms, prevent age-related memory loss, and give you a much-needed source of antioxidants in your diet! KITCHEN UTENSILS

WHOLESOME INGREDIENTS

(Note: Use all organic, fresh ingredients if possible)

Serves 1

2 cups seasonal mixed berries (cranberries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc can all be used in the berry breakfast recipe!)

1/2 cup coconut shavings

Dressing:

1/2 cup coconut water

2 tbsp fresh mint leaves, washed and chopped

2 tbsp cashew butter or coconut butter

1/2 medium avocado

STEPS TO SOMETHING DELICIOUS

Wash berries, draining water well, and place into a bowl. Use a blender to mix sauce ingredients together and pour on top of berries.  Sprinkle with coconut shavings and enjoy this berry breakfast recipe.

Optional: To turn the sauce into a smoothie base, add 1-2 cups of ice. Pour smoothie base into your favorite breakfast bowl, top with berries, and sprinkle with coconut shavings!
