WHOLESOME INGREDIENTS
(Note: Use all organic, fresh ingredients if possible)
SALAD
2 cups cut watermelon, or one half of a mini seedless watermelon. Bonus: You can use the watermelon shell as a bowl!
¾ cup shredded carrots
2-3 tbsp chopped almonds
DRESSING
Makes 2 servings
1 cups fresh strawberries (if using frozen strawberries, thaw them out)
1/2 cup brewed green tea
4 -6 large mint leaves (use more if the mint leaves are on the smaller side)
1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
Note: You can store any extra salad dressing in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. This is a great dressing to make ahead of time and use during the week.
